My favorite thing to do is crochet amigurumi, and I can't say I'm bored, but somehow most animals are similar. They have arms and legs, which gives them more of a doll-like appearance than an animal-like appearance. Which is really pretty and makes it totally cute and cuddly, but still I felt like something else. The animal has to be cute in any case. Easy to crochet too, which for me means sewing on as little as possible and crocheting as much as possible in one go.

The first leg is connected to the second, as well as the third and fourth. Then you continue with the body and an opening is left for the head, which you can continue to crochet on later.

And because the whole thing is really not difficult to crochet and it turned out so cute, there will soon be a whole parade of four-legged friends and I will show another animal every Saturday! I've noticed that there is always very little on my blog reading list on weekends. Somehow hardly anyone seems to post anything new, although on the other hand I always have a lot more visitors to my blog than on the weekdays.

So in the future I will not only sweeten Monday, which is the beginning of a new work week for most, with the Monday goodies, but also the weekend with a little animal to crochet!
